Ultimate Rebounder (bungy based)

OK, then, what makes the Bellicon rebounders so special? The Bellicon 44 and the Bellicon 39 (fomerly the Bellicon Ultimate and Ultimate Mini) rebounders are the latest development in the world of rebounders. Now, rebounding, as you probably know, is a kind of exercise that is done by bouncing, running, jumping, or otherwise moving up and down on a kind of mini-trampoline, better known as a mini-rebounder, which takes most of shock off of your joints through the use of springs, bungee bands, or some other means.

So, the Bellicon rebounders are the world's first ultra-high-quality rebounders where the mat is no longer held by springs, but instead by 36 high-stress bungee bands. This feature makes Bellicon's rebounders the most elastic (and therefore soft-bouncing) rebounder on the market. And in contrast to spring-based rebounders, it is also virtually noiseless, since spring-based rebounders eventually almost always begin to noticeably squeak.

Its deeper/higher bouncing provides you with more lift and more fun than any other rebounder in the world, and is especially recommended for individuals with back problems. The Permatron® mat is black with an orange or pink ribbon. Bellicon's rebounders come in two sizes, 44" and 39", and are therefore now called the Bellicon 44 and the Bellicon 39. Wwhile screw-on legs are standard (and recommended, as units with them wobble less and weigh less), it is also possible to get folding legs on some models. (Don't worry: on this page we'll help you figure out which one you should purchase.)

As for bungee strength and bounce quality, both the Bellicon 44 and the Bellicon 39 can be equipped with medium, strong, or extra-strong bungee bands, with the Bellicon 44 being able to handle individuals up to 300 pounds with the extra-strong bands, and the Bellicon 39 being able to handle individuals up to 350 pounds with the extra-strong bands. Ultra-extra-strong bands will be introduced for the Bellicon 44 at some point, accommodating individuals up to 400 pounds. Over time, the bungee bands can be expected to wear out after extensive use; new sets of 36 bands cost $85.00 or so, plus shipping and handling.

The bottom line is that of the dozen or so types of rebounders that I have tried, from the very worst to the very best, so far these are the best. Once you get on one of these, you'll probably never want to go back to a spring-based rebounder. If you can afford it, and want to try a type of exercise that can easily morph into an integral practice, then this is what you want to go for."
